The sun has got his hat on ... 20 Aug 2008
York Races may be under water, but the sun is out in Huby near Easingwold, as the region gears up for its own mini-Glastonbury Festival this weekend.
The fourth Forest of Galtres Festival is set to be the biggest and best yet!
Kicking off at 11am on Sunday, there's a packed programme of music on the main stage, workshops for the children and fun for all the family. The beer marquee will be serving 40 different ales and ciders from around the county, and the food marquee will be packed with delicious local produce. A hog roast, a giant Yorkshire puddings stall, and a curry van will make sure no one goes hungry.
New this year is a traditional funfare (pictured) and a crafts tent, with everything from wooden bowls to jewellery.
More than ten bands will be playing on the main stage, with the headline act Player 1 closing the Festival at around 11pm.

STOP PRESS - it's going to be SUNNY on Sunday, and that's official!
