No need to bring the car 21 Aug 2008 It may be a Sunday, and a bank holiday, but there's an excellent bus service running to and from the Festival site, throughout the day and evening.
A combination of the standard service buses and some special chartered Festival buses will enable you to arrive and leave by public transport, reducing your carbon footprint and enabling you to enjoy the fine beers, ciders and wines with a clear conscience (if not a clear head).
The buses will be travelling to/from the site from York, Ponderosa campsite and Sutton, and in the other direction from Easingwold, Crayke and Stillington. Follow the link below for full details of bus times and routes.
NB If you're getting one of the late special services back from the Festival, only buy a single ticket for your outward journey, and buy your ticket for the return leg when you arrive at the Festival at the ticket desk. The fare for the special service buses is £2.50.
