The kids will be spoiled for choice! 19 Aug 2008 This year's Festival of Fun programme is probably our strongest yet, with everything from facepainting and storytelling to a funfair and playpark.
Our resident rural arts expert Rick Havely will be back again, this year running metal bashing workshops throughout the afternoon, producing some fantastic metal sculptures of animals, flowers and insects for the children to take home.
For the littlies, Kindermusik are runing music and movement workshops from the Pavilion at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm, while for older teenagers and young adults there will be an opportunity to learn to play the penny whistle, and then to perform on stage if you want to!
Tholthorpe's marvellously talented unicyclists and jugglers will be making return visit by popular demand after last year''s excellent display, and they will be running a short workshop afterwards for any of you who want to learn how to do it.
For this and loads more head for the Galtres Festival on Sunday! The entrance fee for children is just £2.50. All proceeds to local charities.
