Join us in our very own Medieval Village brought to you by Arty Farty Stuff. Here we have lots of crafts, story tellers and poets of international renown sharing traditional stories poetry and original tales based on their life experiences and the people they meet along the way …listen carefully you might just recognise yourself!
The Medieval Village is also where you'll find all manner of wonderful things hosted by Le Grande in the Gypsy Tent and The Starshade.

The Arts Barge Stage

Head for the Arts Barge tent and take a comfy sofa seat to enjoy this year's Arts Barge Galtres experience! The Arts Barge Project brings together 100 creative people and orchestrates unique musical collaborations and one off happenings! Come and join in one of the open sessions or simply relax with a cup of tea and a slice of cake or an awesome curry, and enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere that is Arts Barge!

The Duke Stage

Our biggest stage, up at the top of the arena. Named after the Grand old Duke of York, who marched his 10,000 men up and down Crayke Hill, where our festival started. Yes, he really did! At least that's what they told us in the pub.

The Firkin Stage

So named because of its proximity to 300 firkins of fine ale in the beer tent. This stage features open mic slots as well as scheduled performances, so ask the stage manager if you'd like to have a go.

Showcasing young talent by day - everything from bands to junk drums to Bollywood dancing. And by night curated sessions featuring cabaret, comedy, music, and late night chill-out.
