Camping

There will be two wonderful camping areas at this year's festival, both on the Parklands overlooking the stately home. Parklands arena camping is located above the festival site and includes a bar and stage. Parklands family camping is below the arena, offering a more peaceful environment nestling up to the trees.  You can drive into both areas and park by your tent. Both areas can also accommodate caravans and campervans. But only the family area offers glamping.

As of today there's still plenty of space in all areas.

No fires please and BBQs must be on stands. Free drinking water, lots of toilets, lights, and recycling facilities. The family campsite will be catered - including full English breakfasts with veggie options, and milk for sale.

CAMPSITE SHOWERS

Hot showers are offered in the Parklands family camping area. The showers are private cubicles with one at Parklands for wheelchair users. A shower costs £3.50. If you have paper vouchers left over from Galtres 2011 or 2012 you can use them - if not buy shower vouchers on arrival.

CAMPSITE CHARGES

Camping costs less if you order in advance. The advance cost for weekend camping will be a modest £10 for a small tent (up to 8 square metres - about the size of a car) or £20 for a medium tent (up to 15 square metres, the size of 2 cars). As many people seem to turn up these days with mini-marquees we've introduced a new large tent size of 30 square metres for £40 - that's about the size of 4 cars. If your tent is bigger than that (!) please buy multiple passes to make up the size. Caravans and campervans cost £40, or £60 with electric (limited hook-ups available). Hot showers cost £3.50 (2 vouchers) - make sure you get vouchers with your tickets. Camping prices are per tent or caravan, not per person.
