Camping

UPDATED 11 August 2010 11.55

ONSITE CAMPING

We still have spaces for around 200 tents right next to the Festival arena and all current camping bookings  are for this field*. It's next to the main parking area, but you can't park in this field. There are also spaces for some caravans and campervans in the next field. No fires please and BBQs on stands. Hot showers are offered on Sunday morning at the sports club a short walk up the road.

* if you'd prefer to camp offsite (see below) please book your tickets and camping passes then forward your confirmation email to [email protected] stating your camping location preference.

Please don't turn up without a camping pass, or we won't be able to let you camp.

OFFSITE CAMPING

We've another camping area just outside the village of Crayke, and we'll be bookings tents into there as soon as the onsite fields are full. It's a lovely grassy bowl with loads of space for tents, caravans. and campervans. Facilities are fairly basic but there will be drinking water, toilets, and light. You can park next to your tent. We'll also run a shuttle minibus to get you to and from the festival site. We'll include two tickets per person per day for this bus (one each way) - additional journeys will cost 1 voucher ( £1.50).

No fires please and BBQs on stands.

There won't be any catering or showers at this campsite, but there will be showers and breakfast catering outside the festival main entrance from 9.30am to 11.30am - tea and coffee, hot breakfast rolls (bacon, sausage, egg, mushroom) plus veggie options - all quality local produce. Hot showers are offered on Sunday morning at the sports club in Crayke, near to the festival site. So get up, jump on the minibus, have a shower, a leisurely breakfast, the gates open at 10am and the programme starts at 11am.

The cost for weekend camping will be a modest £10 for a small tent (up to 8 square metres - about the size of a car) or £20 for a larger tent (up to 15 square metres, the size of 2 cars). Caravans and campervans cost £25. Hot showers cost £1.50 (1 voucher) - make sure you get vouchers with your tickets.

You need to book camping in advance - you can't just turn up. We'll send you a special pass - without one you won't be able to get into the campsites. All campsite are patrolled 24x7 by our event security.

Backstage camping NEARLY FULL 31/7/10

An area behind the main stage will be available for event staff, volunteers and performers. Ask Hayley for details if you're involved in the Festival. Special passes will be required.
