FRIDAY 26 TO MONDAY 29 AUGUST 2016 - RYEDALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE
Plant a tree
Description:
Our festival takes its name from the ancient Forest of Galtres which used to cover the area around Crayke, where the festival started. Legend has it that it was cut down on the instruction of Henry VIII for timber to build battleships to attack the French. We want to go a small way to replanting the forest, and are inviting everyone who comes to contribute £5 towards a beautiful tree. It will help offset the carbon generated by our event, and make you feel warm inside. Your donation will be channelled to Treemendous, who plant community woodland.Product Options
