Prices and information
Tickets go on sale for Parklands Festival 2015 on 1 April. Some of the prices are listed below - but more entry and camping options will be available in the shop.
Tickets will not be sent to you until August 2015. Prior to dispatch you will be able to add additional items to your order, such as bus or camping tickets, if you bought your tickets directly from us.

This year we won't be using the G-CARD electronic payment system - instead we're selling books of pre-paid bar vouchers. Each voucher costs £1.75 and they are sold in books of 10 for £17.50. Each voucher buys you half a pint of beer or cider. Wine costs two or three vouchers per 175ml glass depending on the type. You'll be able to order books of vouchers in advance to save time on arrival, and you'll be able to buy more at the festival by debit or credit card as well as by cash.
The vouchers will only be redeemable at the festival bars, which we run. Purchases at stalls, including food, will be by cash or bank card.
We charge a booking fee of £5 per order - this covers credit/debit card commissions, and also our administration costs in processing and dispatching your order. It's a flat fee per order, not per ticket. It means it's cost effective for you to buy all the tickets for you and your friends in one go, including camping, buses etc - if you buy five entry tickets in one order it works out at just £1 per person, which is far lower than any other online ticket purchasing facility we know of.
Up until Monday 24 August we also charge £5 for postage to get your tickets and vouchers to you securely by Royal Mail 'Signed For' Delivery. (After that they're kept for collection on arrival). In the past we've used lower-cost postage methods and it's not been terribly reliable - some people have not received their tickets and it's been a lot of hassle for everyone. The system we're using this year includes online tracking, so even at the festival itself we'll know whether each set of tickets has been received. Again, this is a fixed fee per order, so it makes sense to group your purchases so you only pay postage once.
To save you money we've improved the online shop system, so after placing your order you can log in again and add to the order (eg more entry tickets for friends, or buying additional vouchers or camping tickets) - provided this is before your original order has been dispatched. This should mean you only need to pay one lot of booking and postage fees. You can now change your order - take items out and replace them with different ticket types - so if for example you initially buy day tickets, then decide yo upgrade to weekend tickets, it's an easy process.
