Mehndi Painting - Henna Tattoos
00:00 to 00:00
Mehndi is the Urdu word used to describe the art form of painting henna designs on the body.
For visitors to the Galtres Festival, Amaali designers will create intricate ethnic or contemporary henna designs and exotic patterns on various parts of the body.
Traditionally the art form of henna tattoo application varies from one religion to the next. The varying designs mean different things to each culture, good health, fertility, wisdom and spiritual enlightenment.
Pure natural henna has no dangerous chemicals or dyes, is non-permanent and painless.
