Rose & The Howling North features singer/songwriter Rosie Doonan who grew up playing various festivals with her father's folk ensemble, 'The Mighty Doonans'.

Since then Rose has been busy carving out her own career in the industry winning recognition from Peter Gabriel and child star Birdy. Last year Rose was asked to join Peter Gabriel's world tour which included a 60 piece orchestra where she duetted with him on stage to 'Don't Give Up'. She's also been backing Birdy on her promotional world tour.

Somehow in her busy schedule Rose has managed to write and record her killer album 'Cuckoo' to crytical acclaim which has gained airplay and become a firm favourite of BBC 6music.

Although Rose is very much in demand on the live circuit, The Galtres Festival is one of her favourites and she can't wait to share her band and music with you.
