Gerry McNeice has been part of the UK music scene for over 30 years. Beginning his career playing English and American folk music he has travelled through the genres settling comfortably in the current folk/Americana/roots scene.

The Gerry McNeice Band features Hannah Walker - violin and vocals; Chris Bunyan - drums; Dr. Dave Turner - flute, harmonica and vocals and Liam McNeice - bass guitar. The band is often augmented (particularly at festivals) with some of the musicians Gerry has collaborated with over the past few years including, Katriona Gilmore, Tim Yates, Niamh Boadle, Dominic Howell and Sarah Horn.

The band describe their music as 'hardcore-folk-pop' but this is very tongue-in-cheek. They perform a mixture of Gerry's songs, traditional music and a handful of songs written by their contemporaries.

Described by Mike Harding as 'real lovely' the band's on-stage camaraderie and presence is an essential part of the live experience.
